This case has been disgned to investigate the flow and temperature distributions for populated PCB at various approach flow angles.

The figures below shows the flow vectors for an approach angle of 45 degrees. The flow is very sinuous through thr array of the heated components with no recirculation areas where there would be very little heat dissipation.

Higher order convection scheme available in HOTBOX-99 provide very accurate resolution of convection-conduction heat transfer with minimum numerical smearing.
