TEXT(CALCULATION OF STEADY FLOW IN A BOX

TEXT

--------------------------------------- Photon Help ----

T[ext]....is used to plot text strings on the screen. Enter a text string of up to 76 characters, then press <Return>, and the cursor should appear. The cursor marks the position of the base of the left-most character. When the cursor is correctly positioned, press one of the following keys:

'C' - plot this string and continue in text mode
'D' - ignore current string and continue in text mode
'M' - move last string to new position and continue
'P' - change to colour specified in text string (2-15)
'R' - replace last string with new text and continue
'S' - change to text size specified in text string (1-4)
'X' - ignore current string and exit from text mode
'U' - plot and underline current text string, and
           continue.

Any other character will plot the string and exit from text mode.

TEXT can be used within USE files to perform non-interactive text displaying. In this mode, the USE file contains an extra line after the text to be plotted, containing the position and control character, eg.

UTEXT
1 (character size 1)
Line of text to be displayed
1000. 2000. U

The above sequence in a USE file is equivalent to using a TEXT command interactively, positioning the cursor at (1000.,2000.) and pressing the 'U' key. All coordinates are given in PHOTON Internal Coordinates (PICs).
