  This run performs the same analysis as the previous run except
  that the integration is performed over the z-direction rather
  than the x-direction.
  Phase 1 is used to represent the liquid, and phase 2 is used to
  represent the gas. Compare this with the following run which
  is the same in all respects except that phase 1 is used to
  represent the gas and phase 2 to represent the liquid.
  The equality of the two sets of results confirms that EARTH
  treats both phases on an equal footing.
